With love. There's something about Colorado and the people who live (and love) here. People are looking for something different in their engagement ring. And, without a doubt, they're looking for value. At Miro Jewelers, you won't find the ordinary. And, you won't find sub-par quality or prices that are out-of-this world. Why? Because we are the only jewelry store in our area that literally manufactures our settings right here in Centennial, Colorado. What does that mean for you? There's no middleman. And no big markups. Just stunning engagement ring settings made with the finest craftsmanship and designs to fit any style. That's not to say you won't find a few of the world's best engagement ring designers in our store, like Verragio, we have that too.

Simply Put: We Do Custom Design.

And, we do it like no one else in Colorado. If you're truly going for something exclusively you, custom designing your engagement ring is the way to go. Where do you start? Well, the only limit is your imagination since so many of our rings in our showcases are created by Miro, and very unique on their own. And, it's easy to make some adjustments to what you might see. However, it doesn't need to stop there. Custom designing something one-of-a-kind is also not necessarily more expensive. That's a question we're asked quite often. The process is fun, easy, and yes, affordable! We'll guide you through the process step-by-step. Our jewelry designers are known for their craftsmanship and exceptional artistry.

It starts with getting to know you. We'll take the time to get to know your personal taste and the look and feel you are going for. Next, we will select the center stone which can be a traditional white diamond, but don't rule out colored diamonds or precious gemstones like sapphires and rubies. We'll ask questions. Do you love vintage? Or something more contemporary? Is there a particular metal you would like to see? Is it white, yellow, rose gold or platinum? We'll explain all the nuances to help you in the process. So, if you are looking for something not just out-of-the-box but outside of the showcase, you found the perfect place for custom engagement rings.

Thinking about something different? Think color.

People in Colorado appreciate the unique. And, we're seeing many requests for something beyond a white diamond. That answer is color. A colored diamond is nothing short of extraordinary, from canary yellow to pale pinks to blues. All of which are rare, beautiful and certainly uncommon. You can also consider an engagement ring made of precious gemstones like sapphires, rubies, and emeralds. Sapphires are most known for their vivid blues but are also available in an array of colors from yellow, peach, green, and pink. Rubies are rich in color from scarlet to pinkish reds. The options for a colored gemstone engagement ring are plentiful. And the best thing about Miro Jewelers? We can create whatever your heart desires. All at a price you can afford!

What's on-trend.
There are certainly some new engagement ring trends we're seeing that are a bit different and some styles that are coming back. Isn't fashion always that way? But remember, classic, is well, classic! And since your engagement ring will be something to treasure for many years, you want to make sure you are selecting something you truly love, on-trend or not. Here's a sneak peek:

COLLECTIONS

Fancy cut engagement rings

What's a "fancy cut"? It's basically a diamond shape that isn't round. Fancy cut engagement rings used to be the rage in the 1970s. We loved them then and we love them now. Think marquise and pear shapes. But, you can also consider a fancy, more mainstream cut like oval and emerald. At Miro Jewelers, we're also manufacturing many engagement ring settings that will hold your fancy cut in a less traditional way, like east-west or horizontal.

Three-stone engagement rings

Once upon a time not so long ago, three-stone engagement rings couldn't be better and they signified your past, present, and future together. At Miro, we love that this trend is back. The more diamonds the merrier!

Vintage engagement rings

If you love by-gone eras, then you will love an engagement ring with a Victorian or Art Deco look to it! These engagement ring styles are more intricate in detail with filigree detail and will provide you that antique feel. Vintage engagement rings are truly timeless.

Hidden halo engagement rings

Everywhere you look there are halo engagement rings, and a halo setting can really make your center stone pop! Currently, we are also seeing halos that sit right beneath the stone and we love the intricate detail in this style.

Yellow gold engagement rings

White gold and platinum are stunning and certainly classic. But, true yellow gold is making a big comeback. We love the way it sets your diamond apart and we are starting to see it appear on fingers of the chicest brides to be!

Colored gemstone engagement rings

Those looking for a ring with a pop of color will be happy to hear that engagement rings featuring colored gemstones are staying in vogue. From subtle to striking, colored diamonds and gemstones are sure to be a standout choice to switch up a classic engagement ring.

Stackable Bands

Some brides are now opting for the look of stacked bands versus a single engagement ring. And others are stacking a few diamond bands beneath their engagement ring to give that bigger look. It's also a great look to mix and match!

LAB GROWN DIAMONDS

Lab-Grown Diamonds & Engagement Rings

There are many misconceptions about lab-grown diamonds (also referred to as lab-created diamonds) and so we want to provide you the facts. At Miro Jewelers, we sell both lab-grown and natural diamonds. First and foremost, it's important to understand that a lab-grown diamond is a real diamond! It is simply grown and made in a laboratory versus being mined from the earth. Here are questions and answers we are typically asked to help you make a decision when buying a diamond or engagement ring.

Are lab-grown diamonds less expensive?

Yes. Typically it can be at least 20% - 30% less in cost than a natural diamond.

What are the benefits beyond price?

Lab-grown diamonds purport to be more eco-friendly. For every mined carat, 6000 pounds of mineral waste is created. It's important to note, however, that they do use a significant amount of energy to create. They are ethically sourced, although all of the natural diamonds at Miro jewelers are also ethically sourced.

Are they graded and can you receive a grading report?

Yes and yes. Lab-grown diamonds are sent to a lab that specializes in grading diamonds (both natural and lab) using the 4Cs of cut, clarity, color, and carat. Lab-created diamonds use the same process for grading diamonds as mined natural diamonds.

Is one better than the other?

That's a difficult question to answer. It really comes down to you. You may choose a natural mined diamond because it is incredibly rare and definitely one of nature's miracles. Or you may be interested in a lab-created diamond because you feel that they use modern technology, are less expensive, and can provide you a bigger bang for your buck! It truly is up to you, and both represent love.

Will they hold their value?

We cannot promise (and nor can any retailer or online seller promise) if a lab-grown diamond will hold its value. However, most people do not trade-in or change their diamond.

Find out more about lab-grown diamonds. Find out more about natural diamonds.

What is the difference between a lab-grown diamond or a natural diamond?

The only difference between the two is the origin. A lab-grown diamond is literally grown inside a lab using cutting-edge technology that replicates the natural diamond process. They are chemically and physically the same as a natural diamond. They are not "fakes". A natural diamond is created beneath the Earth's surface and takes thousands of years to form. Only a small percentage of diamonds mined from the earth are actually the quality to be used in fine jewelry and engagement rings.
